Sullivan waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Owensville Dutchmen. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Sullivan never let Owensville on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-20, 26-24.

Sullivan was led to victory by Andi Giebler and Ava Todd. Giebler had nine digs and two assists, while Todd had nine assists and four digs.

Sullivan was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Owensville only served four.

Despite the loss, Owensville still got an impressive performance from Clara Julius, who had 14 digs and two assists. Julius has been hot, having posted 13 or more digs the last seven times she's played.

Sullivan's record is now 16-9-4. As for Owensville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-17-2 record this season.

Sullivan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Union on the 16th. As for Owensville, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against New Haven on the 16th.
