Basketball Recap: Flowery Branch Takes a Loss

Flowery Branch lost against Cedar Shoals last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Flowery Branch Falcons fell to the Cedar Shoals Jaguars 66-60. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 326th, while the Jaguars are ranked 152nd).

Flowery Branch has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-17 record this season. As for Cedar Shoals, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-10.

As of now, neither Flowery Branch nor Cedar Shoals have any future games scheduled.
