Basketball Recap: Frontier Academy Comes Up Short

Frontier Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They took a blow against the Strasburg Indians, falling 61-19. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolverines of the 76-18 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Natalie Damron continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Strasburg, dropping a double-double with 24 points and ten boards. With that strong performance, Damron is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. Another player making a difference was Hannah Damron, who went 7-for-12 on her way to 15 points.

Frontier Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Strasburg, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-4.

Frontier Academy has already played their next contest, a 68-38 loss against Wray on the 22nd. As for Strasburg, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 58-49 defeat against Highland on the 21st.
