Volleyball Recap: Desron Beauchamp and Josh East Secure Win for Ben Davis

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory, Ben Davis was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Lawrence North Wildcats by a score of 3-1. The Giants haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-18, 22-25, 25-23.

Leading Ben Davis to victory were Josh East and Desron Beauchamp. East had 15 digs and three assists, while Beauchamp had 12 assists and four digs. That's the most assists East has posted since back in April of 2024.

The victory got Ben Davis back to even at 5-5. As for Lawrence North, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-10.

Ben Davis wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Warren Central on the 1st. As for Lawrence North, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Whiteland on the 30th.
