Baseball Game Preview: Poway Titans vs. San Marcos Knights

The Poway Titans are taking a road trip to challenge the San Marcos Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Poway came up short against Torrey Pines on Friday, falling 8-2. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Poway saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Johnson, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, San Marcos unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of La Costa Canyon.

Max Farrell was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3.

The loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 9-3-1. As for Poway, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.
