Zillah won the last time they faced Wapato and things went their way on Friday too. The Leopards simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Wolves 41-13. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Leopards' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 128th, while the Wolves are ranked 268th).

Beau Donahoe threw for 74 yards and one TD.

The win (which was Zillah's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.3 points on average this season. As for Wapato, their loss dropped their record down to 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Zillah will host Royal at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Leopards will need to watch out since the Knights have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Wapato, they will be playing at home against Quincy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
