Football Recap: Chayse Armstrong and Jhai Hitchcock Secure Win for Pinellas Park

Pinellas Park won the last time they faced Braden River and things went their way on Friday too. The Patriots strolled past the Pirates with points to spare, taking the game 35-16. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.

Pinellas Park was led to victory by Jhai Hitchcock and Chayse Armstrong. Hitchcock rushed for 126 yards, while Armstrong rushed for 72 yards and one score on only six carries.

Although Braden River took the loss, they still got scores from Louisen Desinor and Anquan Polynice.

The victory got Pinellas Park back to even at 4-4. As for Braden River, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-4.

Coming up, Pinellas Park will welcome Northeast at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Braden River, they are taking a road trip to square off against Southeast at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Seminoles' defense has only allowed 13.3 points per game this season, so the Pirates' offense will have their work cut out for them.
