After only 13 points in their last game, Fruita Monument made sure to put some points up on the board against Rock Canyon on Friday. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Jaguars with a sharp 35-13 win. Considering the Wildcats' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Fruita Monument's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Gavin Moon, who rushed for 72 yards and one touchdown.

Fruita Monument's run defense was locked in: Rock Canyon could only muster 2.9 yards per carry. The Wildcats didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged six.

Fruita Monument now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Rock Canyon, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.
