Soccer Recap: Parkland Starts Season with Defeat on the Road + How To Watch

Parkland had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Atkins Camels on Tuesday, falling 6-1. The match was a close 2-1 at the break, but unfortunately for Parkland it sure didn't stay that way.

Their goal came courtesy of Davian Hernandez.

The win was the third in a row for Atkins, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parkland will face off against Trinity at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Atkins, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Ledford at 6:00 p.m. on September 2.
