Basketball Recap: Richmond Hill Comes Up Short

Richmond Hill lost against Beach two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Richmond Hill Wildcats were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 57-56 to the Beach Bulldogs.

Among those leading the charge was Jayden Newton, who posted 19 points. What's more, he also racked up three assists, the most he's had since back in December of 2023. Chandler Reid was another key player, putting up 11 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

Richmond Hill dropped their record down to 3-3 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Beach, the victory also got them back to even at 3-3.

Richmond Hill didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 49-41 loss against Statesboro on the 13th. As for Beach, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 64-35 win against Southeast Bulloch on the 10th.
