Basketball Recap: Marriotts Ridge Comes Up Short

If Marriotts Ridge was riding high fresh off their 80-48 takedown of Guilford Park last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Marriotts Ridge came up short against the Mt. Hebron Vikings on Wednesday, falling 73-53. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Marriotts Ridge has suffered since January 9th.

Despite the loss, Marriotts Ridge still got an impressive performance from Restia Whitaker, who posted 16 points. Whitaker's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of George Klaus, who put up 12 points.

Marriotts Ridge now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Mt. Hebron, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.
