Volleyball Recap: North Port Comes Up Short

After flying high against Booker on Tuesday, North Port came back down to earth. The Bobcats came up short against the DeSoto County Bulldogs on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Bobcats haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-23, 25-12, 25-22.

North Port's loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for DeSoto County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season.

North Port will square off against Lehigh at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. DeSoto County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
