Birch Run extended their winning streak to four on Monday, bumping them up to 4-0. They breezed past the Vassar Vulcans to the tune of 67-34. The Panthers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

As for Vassar, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered since January 24th.

When it comes to explaining why Vassar lost, don't look at Kris Cerda. Despite the final result, he posted 13 points and three steals. Cerda is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Olivarez, who earned ten points.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Birch Run will square off against Genesee at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Vassar, they will head out to challenge North Huron at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
