Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Perquimans). They put the hurt on the Tarboro Vikings with a sharp 6-0 win on Monday. Perquimans haven't had any issues with Tarboro recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Perquimans hit Tarboro with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Chloe Ward (3), Kaydence Nicole Moehring, Fernanda Gomez, and Rylin Atchison.

Perquimans' win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Tarboro, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Perquimans will head out to face off against Bear Grass Charter at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Perquimans is facing Bear Grass Charter at the right time seeing as Bear Grass Charter is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Tarboro, they are taking a road trip to square off against Nash Central at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
