Basketball Recap: DeQuincy Comes Up Short

DeQuincy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 54-42 to the Vinton Lions. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-42 last Thursday.

DeQuincy's loss dropped their record down to 8-10-1. As for Vinton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. DeQuincy will head out to face off against Sulphur at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Vinton, they will venture away from home to take on East Beauregard at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
