St. Edward won the last time they faced Marian Central Catholic and things went their way on Saturday too. The Green Wave came out on top against the Hurricanes by a score of 2-0.

Sophia Savini paced St. Edward's offense, picking up five kills. Savini got some help from Sam Pogorzelski and her 13 assists. Pogorzelski was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

St. Edward's victory bumped their record up to 10-22. As for Marian Central Catholic, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups. That's still a better percentage than their 6-24 record this season.
