Passaic Valley has gone a perfect 10-0 against Fair Lawn recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Hornets will take on the Cutters at 4:00 p.m. Fair Lawn took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Passaic Valley, who comes in off a win.

Passaic Valley barely beat West Milford the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Hornets were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Highlanders on Monday. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 games by six runs or more this season.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Fair Lawn and Wayne Hills, and Wayne Hills kept the tradition alive. The Cutters took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots on Monday.

Alexis Muscia and Abby Watson did some serious damage despite the final result: Muscia went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run, while Watson went 2-for-3 with two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Morgan Hayes, who went 3-for-4 with one run.

Passaic Valley pushed their record up to 19-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Fair Lawn, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.

Everything went Passaic Valley's way against Fair Lawn in their previous meeting back in April, as Passaic Valley made off with a 10-4 win. Do the Hornets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cutters turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
