Soccer Recap: Crimson Cliffs Takes a Loss

Crimson Cliffs fought the good fight in their overtime match against Snow Canyon on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 3-2. That makes it the first time this season Crimson Cliffs have let down their home crowd.

Crimson Cliffs' defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-2. As for Snow Canyon, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Crimson Cliffs will take on rival Cedar at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Snow Canyon is set to square off against their familiar foe Desert Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
