Baseball Recap: Corpus Christi Moody Takes a Loss

Corpus Christi Moody suffered their closest loss since March 18th on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial Eagles by a score of 3-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in March.

Corpus Christi Moody saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elohim Ramirez, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Corpus Christi Moody's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-13. As for Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial, the victory was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-2-1.
