Volleyball Recap: Springer's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak at Home + How To Watch

Springer managed to slip by Roy/Mosquero the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Red Devils lost 3-0 to the Blue/Lady Blue on Saturday.

Springer took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-20, 25-23.

Brenna Duran paced Springer's offense, picking up ten kills. Duran got some help from Abigail Eppler and her 26 assists. Olivia Burton controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Springer's loss ended a five-match streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-5. As for Roy/Mosquero, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Springer is set to square off against their familiar foe Maxwell at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Roy/Mosquero will take on rival Wagon Mound at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
