Herbert Hoover had won 11 straight games and Braelyn Adkins did her part to make it 12 on Tuesday. The Huskies walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Greenbrier East Spartans for which the team can thank Adkins, who had 19 digs and four aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Herbert Hoover's win bumped their record up to 40-4-1. As for Greenbrier East, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-9-4 record this season.

Herbert Hoover will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Spring Valley at 7:00 p.m. As for Greenbrier East, they will venture away from home to square off against Hedgesville at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
