Game recap: Trinity High School Football Team beats Mansfield

MANSFIELD, Texas - Trinity (Euless, Texas) extended its winning streak to nine games with a 28-7 victory over Mansfield (Texas) on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Matt Hawkins in the first quarter, the Trojans led 28-0 at the half.

Trinity's standout player in the win was Hawkins. The senior quarterback threw one touchdown and ran for one touchdown.

The Tigers' lone touchdown came on a 27-yard pass in the fourth quarter.



THS went into the matchup giving up only 14.5 points per game.

The loss comes after Mansfield defeated Killeen 41-21 last week.
