Volleyball Recap: West Carrollton Takes a Loss

West Carrollton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the Sidney Yellowjackets, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-5, 25-14.

Sidney found their leader in freshman Ahniyah Wilson, who had nine aces and seven digs. Those nine aces set a new season-high mark for Wilson.

West Carrollton's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Sidney, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-3.

West Carrollton has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Tippecanoe on the 24th. Sidney has also already played their next game (against Fairborn), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
