Edgewood scored the most runs they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 14-9 to the West Geauga Wolverines. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Zane Naylor was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs while going 2-for-5. He also brought in two RBI, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Alex Sperduto, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Edgewood's record is now 2-2. As for West Geauga, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Edgewood will challenge Madison at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup will give the Warriors their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for West Geauga, they will take on Perry at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Pirates will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Wolverines surely won't give up without a fight.
