Baseball Recap: Huffman Gets the Win

Huffman won the last time they faced Wenonah and things went their way on Thursday too. The Huffman Vikings walked away with a 10-6 victory over the Wenonah Dragons. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

Aden Brown looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off two hits.

On the hitting side, Braylen Malone and Dylan Craig did most of the damage at the plate: Malone scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances, while Craig scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Huffman's record now sits at 2-0. As for Wenonah, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Huffman will head out to square off against Fairfield at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Wenonah, they will head out on the road to face off against Woodlawn at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
