Softball Recap: Northeast Comes Up Short

Northeast lost to McArthur on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hurricanes came up short against the Mustangs, falling 27-6. The Hurricanes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Northeast's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for McArthur, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Northeast will challenge Parkridge Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for McArthur, they will face off against Cooper City at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cowboys have averaged an impressive 8.5 runs per game this season.
