Northwood waltzed into their matchup on Friday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They blew past the Montgomery Tigers 13-3. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 games by six runs or more this season.

Northwood pushed their record up to 27-4 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Montgomery, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-7.

Northwood wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 9-3 win against Delhi on the 12th. Montgomery does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
