Baseball Recap: Parker Thundering Herd vs. Pinson Valley Indians

Parker proved they can win big on Friday (they won by ten) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Pinson Valley Indians 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Thundering Herd have posted since February 25th.

Jordan Willis was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single hit and allowed only one earned run over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI.
