There's no place like home for Faith Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Victory Christian Academy Soldiers 41-39. That's more bragging rights for the Angels, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Faith Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kylar Simpson led the charge by dropping a double-double with 11 points and 16 boards. Another player making a difference was Alex Maloy, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds.

The win got Faith Christian Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Victory Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Faith Christian Academy and Victory Christian Academy will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games.
