Football Game Preview: Steinbrenner Warriors vs. Alonso Ravens + How To Watch

The Steinbrenner Warriors will venture away from home to face off against the Alonso Ravens at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Steinbrenner has struggled recently with four losses in a row, while Alonso will arrive with four straight victories.

Steinbrenner came up short against East Lake on Friday, falling 40-14.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Rylen Dutka, who rushed for 74 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries, and also threw for 199 yards and one TD. Isaiah Robinson helped out on the ground, rushing for 87 yards.

While Alonso didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-6), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past Middleton 45-0 last Friday. The Ravens might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 39 points or more this season.

Alonso's win came from a few key players Steinbrenner will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Michael Pyne, who threw for 225 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in one score on the ground. Will Mirabella helped Pyne out on the ground, rushing for 126 yards and one TD.

Steinbrenner's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Alonso, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.

Steinbrenner suffered a grim 35-9 defeat to Alonso in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Thankfully for the Warriors, Joseph Glennon (who rushed for 123 yards and five scores) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
