Colerain senior fullback had committed to Badgers in October

Colerain senior fullback Trayion Durham has rescinded his verbal commitment to Wisconsin, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Durham, who is 6-foot-2 and 240 pounds, had committed to the Badgers on Oct. 18.

Durham, a first-team all-Greater Miami Conference selection this season, rushed for 1,096 yards and 15 touchdowns for the Cardinals, who went 10-0 during the regular season. He is considered one of the state's top players in the 2011 class.

Colerain coach Tom Bolden told the newspaper that Durham didn't feel comfortable with the geographic distance and wanted to consider other options. Durham will take visits to Kentucky and Louisville sometime in January, according to Bolden.

Durham had committed to Wisconsin on Oct. 18 - just a few days after the Badgers' 31-18 win over Ohio State in Madison.

At the time of his commitment, Durham also had offers from Cincinnati, Kentucky, North Carolina State, Louisville, Boston College, Minnesota and Colorado.
