Pechone Larry leads a balanced attack to beat Ouachita

Recap: Junction City Dragons vs. Ouachita Warriors

The Junction City Dragons had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33.6 points), and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 75-57 win over Ouachita. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.

Junction City got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Pechone Larry out in front who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Montra Hankton, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and five steals.

Junction City has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Ouachita, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-14.

Junction City will take on Woodlawn at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Woodlawn's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five matchups. As for Ouachita, Ouachita and Fordyce will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Fordyce has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
