Basketball Recap: St. John Comes Up Short

If St. John was feeling good fresh off their 57-32 takedown of Bishop Ryan last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The St. John Woodchucks fell 66-58 to the Our Redeemer's Christian Knights on Tuesday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Monday (57), the Woodchucks still had to take the loss.

St. John has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Our Redeemer's Christian, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. John will host New Rockford-Sheyenne at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. St. John has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Our Redeemer's Christian, they will welcome South Prairie/Max at 7:15 p.m. on January 7th. South Prairie/Max will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Our Redeemer's Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
