Baseball Recap: Logan Longhorns vs. Melrose Buffaloes

Logan was the 6-3 winner over Melrose when they last played one another on Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Logan Longhorns fell just short of the Melrose Buffaloes by a score of 4-2 on Friday. It was the first time this season that Logan let down their fans at home.

Logan's loss ended a 20-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 16-4. As for Melrose, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.
