Baseball Recap: Maple Hill Comes Up Short

Maple Hill lost against Bethlehem Central back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats lost 13-7 to the Eagles. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Maple Hill's record is now 9-8. As for Bethlehem Central, their record now sits at 5-11.

Looking ahead, Maple Hill will host Watervliet at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cannoneers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.18 runs per game on average), something the Wildcats will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Bethlehem Central, they will venture away from home to square off against Saratoga Springs at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Blue Streaks will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
