Baseball Recap: Eisenhower Takes a Loss

Eisenhower managed to slip by MacArthur the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Eisenhower Eagles lost 11-1 to the MacArthur Generals on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Eagles couldn't push the score so high this time.

Eisenhower saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kameron Gourley, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Gourley is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played.

Eisenhower's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for MacArthur, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-6.

While Eisenhower had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
