Volleyball Recap: Hillcrest Snags Eighth Win in Last Ten Games

Hillcrest posted their closest victory since February 26th on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Chaparral Pumas 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Trojans: when they faced off against the Pumas on Friday, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

Hillcrest is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. This is the second loss in a row for Chaparral and nudges their season record down to 12-9.

Looking ahead, Hillcrest will take on Poly in a tournament on Saturday. As for Chaparral, they will head out to face off against Great Oak at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Great Oak will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Chaparral surely won't give up without a fight.
