Volleyball Recap: Anoka Extends Winning Streak to Three

Anoka waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Centennial Cougars.

Anoka easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-11.

Mark Mosneguta paced Anoka's offense, picking up eight kills. Mosneguta got some help from Hank Anderson and his 11 assists. Elkupsoe Bee controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Anoka's victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Anoka has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Blaine on the 5th. Hopefully Centennial payed attention to the Tornadoes' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Tornadoes at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th.
