Soccer Recap: Mineral Ridge Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Mineral Ridge, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Aquinas Knights on Saturday as they made off with a 6-0 victory. Tyler Simpson was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Mineral Ridge's win bumped their record up to 9-3-2. As for Aquinas, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mineral Ridge will take on Columbiana at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Aquinas, they will face off against Medina Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Aquinas will need to watch out since Medina Christian Academy has now posted at least four goals in their last five contests.
