Chloe Cotter Game Report: vs Herscher

Chloe Cotter gave up the fewest hits she has since back in April on Saturday. She was dynamite, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Cotter and Clifton Central will take on St. Anne at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Comets got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Cardinals thanks in part to Cotter: she went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
