Baseball Recap: Westview Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Westview has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 2.84 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huntingdon Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-4 back in April.

Westview's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 30-8. As for Huntingdon, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-6 record this season.

Westview does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Huntingdon has already played their next contest (against White House-Heritage), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
