Soccer Recap: Riverdale Comes Up Short

Riverdale pushed their score to four the last time they played Archbishop Rummel, but on Thursday they couldn't quite do it again. The Riverdale Rebels fell just short of the Archbishop Rummel Raiders by a score of 1-0. The Rebels have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Riverdale's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 10-5. As for Archbishop Rummel, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-7-4.

Riverdale has already played their next matchup (against Holy Cross), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Archbishop Rummel will welcome East St. John at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
