Football Game Preview: Jasper County Hurricanes vs. Pepperell Dragons + How To Watch

The Jasper County Hurricanes will face off against the Pepperell Dragons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Jasper County's defense has only allowed 12.5 points per game this season, so Pepperell's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Jasper County is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They breezed past Gordon Central to the tune of 44-13. The result was nothing new for the Hurricanes, who have now won six games by 28 points or more so far this season.

Chance Ross had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 178 yards and one touchdown on only 15 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of JaMarkus Thomas, who threw for 54 yards and a pair of TDs.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Pepperell, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in October. They walked away with a 28-21 win over Bremen on Friday.

Jasper County better keep an eye on Moss Tant. He was instrumental in Pepperell's win, rushing for 75 yards and two scores. What's more, Tant racked up 47.9 passer rating, the most he's had since back in August.

Pepperell was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 293 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Pepperell pushed their record up to 7-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.8 points over those games. As for Jasper County, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1.
