Lincoln won the last time they faced Sheridan, and Adeshina Alassani did his part to make sure it happened again. The Lincoln Lancers walked away with a 53-44 win over the Sheridan Rams on Wednesday thanks in part to Alassani, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 19 boards. He has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 17 times he's played.

Sheridan lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Bobby Garcia, who posted 11 points and seven steals. Those seven steals gave him a new career-high. Juan Reyes was another key player, putting up four points along with ten steals and five assists.

Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Sheridan, they dropped their record down to 3-18 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Lincoln didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 61-45 win against Montbello on the 20th. Sheridan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
