Basketball Recap: Hagerman Takes a Loss

Hagerman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were dealt a 62-21 defeat at the hands of the Tatum Coyotes. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Mexico basketball rankings (they are ranked 125th, while the Coyotes are ranked 31st).

Hagerman's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Tatum, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-3.

Looking ahead, Hagerman won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against New Mexico Military Institute at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Tatum, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll face off against Loving at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
