Davidson Academy has gone 8-2 against Nashville Christian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. Davidson Academy made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Beech, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Davidson Academy blew past Beech 14-7 on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bears as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Ryan Stafford looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Cooper Rogers, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and four RBI. Davidson Academy is undefeated when Rogers posts two or more runs, but 2-5 otherwise. Aydan Bradley was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.
Davidson Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .537. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Nashville Christian). Everything went their way against Cheatham County Central on Thursday as Nashville Christian made off with a 16-6 victory. While the Eagles didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
The win got Davidson Academy back to even at 5-5. As for Nashville Christian, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.
Everything went Davidson Academy's way against Nashville Christian in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, as Davidson Academy made off with a 26-2 win.
