Volleyball Game Preview: Bandys Trojans vs. Maiden Blue Devils

The Bandys Trojans are taking a road trip to square off against the Maiden Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Bandys came up short against North Lincoln and fell 3-1. The Trojans have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Bandys actually scored more points across those four sets (90-88), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-22, 13-25, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Maiden was able to grind out a solid win over South Iredell on Monday, taking the game 3-1.

While Maiden might've won, it sure wasn't easy: South Iredell scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 22-25, 25-22, 25-19.

Maiden's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-3. As for Bandys, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-8.

Bandys couldn't quite get it done against Maiden in their previous meeting back in September as they fell 3-1. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
