Baseball Recap: Rincon/University Comes Up Short

Rincon/University came into this matchup off a tough 13-run defeat last Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Marana Tigers by a score of 4-2 on Thursday. The Rangers just can't catch a break and have now endured ten losses in a row.

Rincon/University saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Victor Moreno, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

Rincon/University's record is now 4-17. As for Marana, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-13.

Coming up, Rincon/University will challenge Tucson High Magnet School at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Marana, they will square off against Desert Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
