Volleyball Recap: Mansueto Picks Up Fifth Straight Win on the Road

It was close, but on Monday the Mansueto Leopards sidestepped the Holy Trinity Tigers for a 2-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Leopards.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Mansueto who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 15-25, 25-22.

Mansueto pushed their record up to 23-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Holy Trinity, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

Mansueto will take on Proviso East at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Holy Trinity, they will square off against Christ the King at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
