Hesperia extended their home winning streak to 11 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Emily Ventroni. The Scorpions came out on top against the Oak Hills Bulldogs by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday for which the team can thank Ventroni, who had 15 digs and five aces. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times she's played.

Hesperia was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 22-25, 25-15, 25-20.

Hesperia's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Deziree Mendoza, who had 13 digs and one assist. Those 13 digs gave Mendoza a new career-high. Kitana Tapopo was another key player, getting ten digs and one assist.

Hesperia was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in four consecutive contests.

Hesperia's record is now 21-1. As for Oak Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-15.

Hesperia didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Serrano on the 29th. As for Oak Hills, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Polytechnic on the 27th.
